Launch Countdown Log: Day 11
It's Day 11, which is 2.2% of the way to Day 500, which is the same number as in the title of this game.
I just felt like telling you that.
Today I added one more sound effect that plays when the railgun reaches a new "charge phase" (the pinkish red blocks that fill up the green panel denote this), I did a bit of combat balancing, and I added another level of shake & gun kickback for one of the charge phases that was missing its own unique shake & kickback animations. I also updated all of the Steam graphical assets & icons etc. using the updated logo I made a few days ago. (Steam Library capsule image pictured above)
I ALSO made a new build of the game which is available now. I'm going to test this build over the next few days and fix whatever stupid stuff and THEN, the game should be ready. At that point I will start to figure out how uploading a game build to Steam works, because that's apparently its own process, and I will get some new screenshots and GIFs to put on the Steam page, and make a trailer for the game. I'm feeling really impatient right now because the rest of the work that needs to be done isn't directly related to improving the game, and so it feels like a hassle. I am still excited though.
