YO today I made ~gameplay changes~ where now getting hit by an enemy not only knocks them back, but also any enemies within a certain radius around you. This is meant to alleviate the sense of futility a lot of playtesters were feeling when surrounded by tons of enemies during a Flood (the part where the sky turns red and a ton of enemies spawn). Now you get a bit of breathing room between hits from enemies, which I think feels pretty good. It's probably the final piece of the combat design balance that will go into the game. I wanna finish this thing and play the new Mayrio wondah.
